The federal government’s effort to encourage all physicians and hospital groups to deploy and share electronic medical records (EMRs) will come to fruition. This session will focus on EMR established physician practices and hospitals addressing meaningful use and the challenge of EMR interoperability. Examples of organizations that use an EMR and share information with other organizations with similar and disparate systems will be addressed.
